Detroit, Michigan - A Veterans Day ceremony at Elmwood Cemetery honors members of the 102nd U.S. Colored Infantry Regiment who fought in the American Civil War. Some of the soldiers were escaped slaves. The regiment also included Native Americans. A rose was placed on the grave of Pvt. John Jacko, a Native American.
