Description
Mitla, Oaxaca, Mexico - The ruins of Mitla, a pre-Columbian religious center in Zapotec culture that dates at least to 100 CE. After destroying much of Mitla when they arrived in the 16th century, the Spanish built the Church of San Pablo (red domes) on top of some of the ruins.
